How we handle what you share with us.
This site is how institutions start a conversation with JP Davis Partners. We collect only what you choose to give us, we use it only for that conversation, and we do not sell or rent it to anyone.
What we collect, and why
The contact form asks for your name, email address, organization, and message. We use these to read your note and write you back.
The Summit updates and Field Notes signups ask for your email address only. We store it so we can send you the updates you asked for. The Summit list receives only Summit news, as promised where you sign up.
Site analytics. We measure, in aggregate, how visitors find and use the site: which pages are read and where traffic comes from. This measurement uses cookies; most browsers let you manage or disable cookies in their settings.
Technical operation. As with nearly every website, IP addresses are processed in server logs and for rate limiting. This is standard practice that protects the site from malicious activity and keeps it available to legitimate visitors.
Who works on our behalf
A small set of service providers helps us run this site: our hosting provider, an email delivery service, a database service, and analytics tooling. Each processes information only to provide its service to us. We do not sell or rent your information, and we do not share it for marketing.
How long we keep it
We keep personal information only as long as reasonably necessary to respond to your inquiry, send the updates you requested, meet legal obligations, and maintain ordinary business records. If you unsubscribe, we stop sending you those communications.
Your choices and rights
You own your information. The update emails we send include a way to stop receiving them, and you can leave a list at any time. To see, correct, or delete anything you have shared with us, write to jp@jpdavispartners.com and we will take care of it promptly, without forms or fees. If you are in a place whose laws grant you specific privacy rights, we honor requests under those laws the same way: by email.
Security
We use reasonable administrative and technical measures to protect the information entrusted to us. No website or method of transmission can guarantee absolute security, and we work to safeguard personal information appropriately.
What this site does not do
No advertising or ad tracking. No selling of personal information. No sharing for marketing.
Changes
If what we collect or how we use it changes, this page changes with it, and the effective date above moves. Meaningful changes will be visible here before they apply.
